This week’s teaching we’re going to look at ‘The More Abundant Life.’ that Jesus Christ came to make available. John 10:10b is the theme verse for this first teaching and for all the shows that will follow. Every show will have lessons in principles, promises and exhortations to help all of us live the life that is truly more than abundant.
The teaching starts out by Steve telling his story of back in April of 1979 of when he first heard the term ‘The More Abundant Life.’ How somebody came up to him and asked if he knew that Jesus Christ came so that we could have life and have it more abundantly. With him sharing this with Steve it really did change his life that day. It’s set Steve on a quest to learn how to tap into the resources for the more abundant life. That’s what Steve going to teach here and that’s what he excited about.
In this teaching Steve shares a lot about the early days of him learning about the more about the more Abundant Life. Steve shares about what the Bible says is available.
Here’s a small list of what the Bible says is available; the more abundant life, the more than conquerors lifestyle, having all sufficiency in all things, able to have exceeding abundantly above all that you could ask or think, and that God will supply all your need according to his riches in Glory by Christ Jesus.
The natural question is how. How does God make all that available. The first thing is you read or hear what is available from the scriptures. Then the Bible will tell you how to do it and tell you about the power of God. How you can utilize it for your benefit.
Steve will finish his sharing by teaching one principal and promise from God’s Word so you can start to utilize it in your life. Each new show will have more principles, promises and exhortations to help you live the life that you’ve always wanted to live, the more abundant life.
Until the next time we get together, may God bless you abundantly.
