This Podcast I taught on “Religion, Where Does Religion Come From.”

I was thinking about two different points of learning. One is, that all the religions in the East, the Orient, all have very similar beliefs in a god, a higher power of some kind. They teach plenty of what Jesus taught on ‘The Sermon on the Mount.’ Most Eastern religions believe and share those teachings. This is true of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikism, Taoism, Shinto, Confucianism, East Asian Buddhism and Muslims. The theories and philosophies of these religions have many concepts in common.

The other point of learning that I am thing about is that the devil is not original. He wants to be worshiped like the most high God. The devil does this by counterfeiting what is true worship. It looks closly like the true for worship but it is false. The truth they can be found in Scripture as holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the, Holy Spirit, God.  For the counterfeit to be of any use it has to look a lot like the genuine. The only way to know if it’s the genuine, the truth, is to be an expert. I have good news for you I can teach you how to be an expert.

I can teach you how to be an expert by teaching you the keys and signpost on How the Bible Interprets Itself. I do this with recorded Bible teachings, books, and studies that you can avail yourself to free of charge on my website:

With those two learning points there’s one more thing to be considered. What about all the  different Christian denominations, religion and churches all claiming to be the true church or having the true Word of God. There really is no difference. Religions from either the east or the west has to stiil be either the truth of God’s Word or it is not. It it’s either the truth of God’s Word or it’s a counterfeit. It is in just how close the counterfeit can look like the genuine.

Until the next time we get together, may God bless you abundantly.
